The complete solution Extended Enterprise Management (EEM) from Manhattan Associates is developed for process control of delivery of goods from the supplier to the end consumer and improvement of partner interaction on a logistics chain.

The solution is focused, first of all, on the large retail networks and wholesale companies having a great number of partners and difficult, geographically distributed supply chains on the basis of intermodal transportations. Also a system can be of interest and to 3PL-operators.

The modular structure of a system covers functionality for work with suppliers, carriers, logistic operators and retailers, i.e. practically on any section of deliveries. For process synchronization the information from partners obtained on the Internet or sent in standard formats is used. The solution contains the delivery execution block which allows not just to monitor processes, but also to make decisions and to react directly to the events which are taking place in a supply chain. The solution is delivered as independent, but can be, allegedly, integrated with any information system of the customer.

In a system work with orders online, generation, acceptance and sending ASN (the prior notice of shipment), shipping labels and documents in the uniform standard and also a number of important functions of acceptance and shipment of goods in intermediate warehouses (hubs) is supported. For providing detailed visual information on location of goods in way a system can be synchronized with the online map of Google Map.
