At the end of October 2023, Motorola introduced a smartphone bracelet that snatches from any angle. For example, the device can take the form of a triangle (the diagonal of the useful area of ​ ​ the screen is reduced to 4.6 inches) and put on the table for convenient display of time or notifications. In addition, the gadget can be put on your hand, and thereby it will play the role of a smartwatch.

The device received a 6.9-inch pOLED display that can bend at almost any angle. The information on the screen adjusts to the bend of the device: in the state of the bracelet smartphone , widgets and notifications are displayed on the screen, like a smart watch.

Motorola also talked about the introduction of technologies based on artificial intelligence in the device so that the user can use generative neural networks. This, according to the developers, allows you to create unique wallpapers on the desktop. For example, the MotoAI system allows you to personalize your wallpaper and theme: the user can take a picture of the clothes and then get the generated AI images to set as wallpaper.

During the presentation of the novelty, the manufacturer did not name the timing of its entry into the market. Commercial viability remains the subject of numerous discussions related to its durability, wearability and potential solutions for the design of the case.

At the same time, attempts have already been made to bring flexible smartphones to the market that can be wrapped around the wrist. In 2017, such a gadget was presented by the American company Royole. Its device has a full-fledged color screen. In parallel, it can serve as a fitness tracker: measure heart rate, number of steps, distance. The thickness of the device is 6 mm, and the weight is 100 grams. The developers assure that this is optimal in order to carry a smartphone in training and in everyday life.^[1]
