2023: Launch of "Single Number" in the Moscow region

MTS PJSC, a digital ecosystem, launched the Single Number service in the Moscow region on October 27, 2023, allowing MTS subscribers to receive and make autonomous calls from smart watches with eSIM under the same number used in a smartphone. Now, to be always in touch, you don't have to take your smartphone with you.

This Single Number service connects any smartphone with SIM a MTS card with a single subscriber number and a smartwatch with an eSIM function on. operating system Android MTS subscribers get the opportunity to use voice the services using smart watches under their current mobile number, being away from the smartphone. At the same time, the range does not matter - smart watches themselves work like a phone.

You can connect the watch remotely on the MTS website, you do not need to visit the MTS store. The service is available in Moscow and the Moscow region, and by the end of 2023 will be scaled for private clients in most regions of Russia.

Modern smartwatch models work not only in close conjunction with smartphones, but also become independent devices. MTS launched the Single Number service, which expands the capabilities of customers and brings the use of wearable electronics to a new level of comfort. Combining a smartwatch with an eSIM with a smartphone under one number, the MTS subscriber will remain in touch, even forgetting the phone at home, going out for a run or in the store, while driving or just when his hands are busy. • Huawei Watch 3, Watch 3 Pro, Watch 4, Watch 4 Pro.

According to MTS analysts, in the first half of 2023, smartwatches occupied almost 70% of the Russian wearable device market.
