RIVC-Pulkovo replaced Power BI with Russian BI-system Analytic Workspace

2023: Move to Analytic Workspace (AW BI)

RIVTS-Pulkovo, a Russian provider of IT solutions for civil aviation, has switched to the Russian BI-system Analytic Workspace (AW BI). This was announced on October 30, 2023 by Analytic Workspace.

The company has long used Microsoft's overseas Power BI system to analyze production and financial performance. However, due to the need for import substitution of the BI-system, RIVTS-Pulkovo drew attention to Analytic Workspace (AW BI), which was subsequently chosen as a replacement for Power BI.

Among the features of AW BI, RIVC-Pulkovo noted a flexible pricing policy that takes into account different levels of access, developed functionality that exceeds the Western solution, as well as ease of implementation and development.

The objective of the implemented information and analytical system was to provide reliable and transparent information on the company's production and financial indicators in a convenient interactive mode. The analytical reports were provided to the management of the company for prompt real-time review of the situation.

The implementation of Analytic Workspace was carried out on the company's own servers (on-premium) and as of the end of October 2023, its management is the end user of analytical panels. RIVC-Pulkovo independently implemented the implementation, having previously mastered the skills of working in the BI-system Analytic Workspace using a free demo version.

According to the customer, the replacement of Power BI with Analytic Workspace in RIVTS-Pulkovo took no more than a month and was carried out without interference with the company's current business processes.
