2023: MirDorTekhnika bought out Russian business Wirtgen International
The manufacturer of road construction equipment Wirtgen sold its Russian business to Mirdortekhnika. The corresponding entry was entered into the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (USRUL) at the end of October 2023.
According to Interfax with reference to this register, Mirdortekhnika LLC became the owner of 100% of Virtgen-International-Service LLC (VIS). According to the register, Miroslav Yanich, top manager of the Russian division of Wirtgen, is the owner of Mirdortekhniki. Janić is a native of Yugoslavia, he is a Russian citizen.
Virtgen-International-Service is a cluster that includes administrative, warehouse and service areas. The technical centre caters for road building machines of all Wirtgen Group brands. A training center operates on the basis of the representative office, where both in-house specialists and customer personnel are trained. Russian engineers and mechanics were regular participants in Wirtgen projects around the world: in Europe, America, India, Mongolia, Africa, CIS countries, etc.
The equipment itself is produced at five Wirtgen Group plants in Germany. In addition, there are production sites in Brazil, China and India that meet the needs of global customers of the road construction industry.[1]
