The St. Petersburg company "PiterSoft" brought into operation a corporate information system on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform in the Pozitron-power trading house representing the Russian holding "Pozitron" working in the field of power electronics.

The trading house services customers of all holding, including deliveries of modern energetically effective equipment, systems, services and solutions for industrial, power and commercial enterprises in the field of power.

The project task included design of business processes of the new created enterprise and its automation taking into account the developed requirements to functionality of a system of operational management of sales and also ensuring confidentiality of information.

During implementation of an operational circuit the difficult and multiple regulations of work of sales department concerning customer relations and reflecting everything the nuances of trade purchasing activity connected with specifics of the delivered goods were taken into account.

As a basis for a new information system the 1C: Trade Management 8 configuration which was complemented with the subsystems developed "to order" was selected. For management of requests of clients in sales department customer appeals on the basis of which the purchasing department selects options of deliveries with the most acceptable conditions for the prices, terms, the minimum deliveries, multiplicity of packagings are fixed.

Operational interaction of purchasing department with suppliers is performed by aggregation of requests of managers of sales department on different positions for sending a summary request to the supplier. Calculation of profitability and profitability of the transaction is performed proceeding from different proposals of suppliers, taking into account delivery costs and other direct expenses. Passing of the transaction is fixed at all stages of lifecycle, beginning from the first negotiations and check of balance with the client and finishing with the goods delivery to the buyer. Calculation and charge bonus to managers of sales department and purchasing department is conducted based on their operational activity.

The functionality of CRM is expanded for automation of demand analysis of the commodity specification. In the program also management of pricing, a base price system, difficult calculation of margins and discounts are implemented. Now the functionality of CRM is involved in a system; purchase planning and formation of the payment schedule are automated; accounting of settlement with buyers, suppliers and third parties; individual contractual conditions, credit lines; cost accounting of the enterprise for articles, calculation of profitability of the enterprise in general; segmentation of clients on categories and sales markets; inventory control of goods (acceptance, shipment and inventory).

During the project the 1C: Accounting 8 configuration was also implemented and configured. The base of operational accounting is integrated with accounting base that exempts the accountant from double entry of data. As a result the staff of financial service, purchasing departments and sales work in a common information space of turnover of goods and money.

Originally the corporate information system was brought into commercial operation in the summer of 2006. In the fall of 2006 the service of marketing of the Pozitron plant was connected to work.
