"Security Code" opened a laboratory in MTUSI

2023: Opening of the Security Code Laboratory

On October 31, 2023, the grand opening of the laboratory based on the solutions of the Security Code company took place at the MTUSI Congress Center.

The training laboratory has deployed 25 places with installed images of virtual machines, connected by a local distributed network, to which the flagship software and hardware complexes of the "Security Code" are connected, providing comprehensive intelligent protection of the enterprise IT infrastructure. As part of training programs, including with the involvement of company experts, students will receive skills in working with leading vendor products, including the latest generation of NGFW firewall "Continent 4," Secret Net Studio, VGate, etc. Every year, the laboratory plans to train up to 700 specialists in the field of information security.

Information security is one of the most important strategic directions for the development of our state. MTUSI annually produces more than 200 specialists in the field of information security. In the process of preparation, we pay great attention to ensuring that our students receive practically skills. In the walls of our university there are laboratories of almost all domestic manufacturers of information protection tools. We have been cooperating with the Security Code company for more than 7 years, and now we are taking the next logical step in joint development: our partners are opening their own laboratory with us, - said the rector of MTUSI Sergey Erokhin.

Earlier, on the basis of the university, with the support of the Security Code, promising projects were implemented to launch the first in Russia ecosystem of the intercollegiate quantum network with open access, and current training programs in the field of information security were developed and introduced to form the country's personnel reserve.
