2023: Entering the Russian Market

The Middle East chain of hotels Rotana Hotels in early November 2023 officially entered the Russian market. At the first stage, the group will manage two hotels in Moscow owned by the developer Amtel Properties. We are talking about the projects Seligerskaya and Vinogradovo, which belong to the category "4 stars."

Hotel Vinogradovo is located four kilometers from the Moscow Ring Road along Dmitrovsky Highway and 12 kilometers from Sheremetyevo International Airport. The number of rooms consists of 164 numbers of different categories. The hotel includes 20 modern conference rooms where you can organize any event.

Seligerskaya is within walking distance of Seligerskaya Metro Station. Guests are offered accommodation in one of 201 rooms of various categories. 12 meeting rooms with a capacity of 12 to 300 people are also an advantage when choosing a hotel for events. In addition, there is a fitness center with a swimming pool and a sauna on the territory of the hotel.

By early November 2023, the Rotana hotel group owns and operates more than a hundred hotels in the Middle East, Africa, East and To Europe. Turkey In total, her portfolio includes several brands - Rotana Hotels & Resorts, Centro Hotels by Rotana, Rayhaan Hotels & Resorts by Rotana, Arjaan Hotel Apartments by Rotana, Edge by Rotana and The Residences by Rotana.

Middle Eastern companies focus primarily on their compatriots who come to Russia, said Vadim Prasov, vice president of the Federation of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers. In his opinion, the massive expansion of hotel brands into the country is hardly to be expected.

This is a relatively promising project. Why "relative"? Because it is quite obvious that the flow of guests from the countries of the Middle East will probably be the main one. And it is clear that they know their regional brands better, "he said in a conversation with Kommersant[1]
