Teleport-Service built the VIDEOCONFERENCING most wide public network in Russia worth 100 million rubles

Corporate network of the Modern Humanitarian Academy (MHA) For geographically distributed higher education institution with network of more than 800 branches across Russia and the CIS, within development of telecommunication infrastructure are constructed and are serviced:

• the largest network of a video conferencing in Russia for general use
• the network of VSAT stations integrating local computer networks of SGA branches

The operator of satellite communication Teleport-Service completed in May, 2011 the construction of public network of a video conferencing (VIDEOCONFERENCING) based on the Modern Humanitarian Academy (MHA). Today the network contains more than 800 telehalls in all subjects of the Russian Federation and is the VIDEOCONFERENCING most large public network in Russia. Project cost on its creation was about 100 million rubles.

The built network includes four broadcasting studios in the center of Moscow, with a capacity up to 200 people each, and 800 regional telehalls equipped for viewing video conferences and participation in actions by means of audioconference communication, at the same time 450 platforms are equipped with also bilateral video conferencing. On the basis of the built Teleport-Service network renders services of providing TV broadcasts, carrying out video conferences, telemarathons and teleconferences.

Within the last stage of construction of Teleport-Service network equipped 150 telehalls with new hardware and software systems and finished functionality of the software for connection to actions of third-party video networks with the various equipment, including with outdated.

Everyone can use possibilities of open network of VKS "Teleport Service" to organize effective business communications without travel costs. The network of specially equipped platforms allows to provide far off internal training or trainings, business, scientific and press conferences, interregional meetings, speeches of leaders of social movements before wide audience, etc. Viewing the taking place action can be organized in any point of Russia and the CIS countries in the presence of the household receiving satellite equipment.

The Teleport-Servisa VIDEOCONFERENCING public network is built based on the server of a multipoint video conferencing Codian, Tandberg MXP video systems, the software for the VKS organization developed by Teleport-Service company together with the domestic developer of software solutions of video conference of TrueConf ("Videoport") and the special television platform. For the organization of communication the resource of the Intelsat 15 geostationary satellite is used. The company applies VSAT SkyEdge technology from the leading world supplier of the satellite Gilat Network Systems systems. On network of a video conferencing "Teleport Service" high-speed links of video conference – up to 1.5 Mbps are used (while the speed of a television broadcasting flow in standard DVB/S2 format is 2 Mbps).

"Teleport Service" on rendering services VIDEOCONFERENCING is the main partner Modern humanitarian academy in which branches telehalls are organized. Cooperation of the operator and university began in 2006 with construction of the first 30 VSAT stations for academy. By 2009 Teleport-Service built the satellite network numbering 500 VSAT terminals for SGA and also performed a number of projects of system integration. Today the network of the SGA public telehalls contains more than 800 platforms located in the territory of Russia and seven telehalls in the CIS countries (in Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Moldova and in Ukraine).

Thanks to infrastructure "Teleport Service" was implemented a number of large-scale projects among which there is constituent video conference of the non-political movement "Youth — for Human Rights, against Terrorism" with participation of the crew of the International Space Station which was in an orbit; organization of network functioning of distance learning of the World Bank (GDLN World Bank); actions for such large foreign companies as DHL and Vichy. Among regular customers "Teleport Service" is the large-scale foreign pharmaceutical concerns and the companies which are engaged in cosmetology, using VKS network not only for promotion of products, but also for training and advanced training of employees.
