The memorandum is based on the development policy adopted by the Government of the Republic, which includes ensuring a single standard for the Mongolian railway network, including gauge, signaling, communication, and traffic control systems.

Among the main areas of joint work determined by the memorandum is the introduction of digital traffic control systems using uniform standards for gauge 1520. This will ensure a high degree of integration and non-stop passage of trains along the entire Mongolian railway network, in particular on the route Tavan Tolgoi - Dzunbayan - Sainshand-Dzamyn Ud (dry port).

The digitalization of railways allows you to increase the throughput of lines with minimal costs, as well as provides high safety with an increase in traffic intensity.

Thus, on km 1111 of the Trans-Mongolian highway, specialists of the ZHAT GK 1520 Division introduced a system of interval traffic control based on a radio channel. Russian digital automation is adapted to the local climate, which guarantees reliable and uninterrupted operation.
