2023: Product Announcement

On November 10, 2023, Maykop State Technological University (MSTU) announced the development of a unique autonomous system for managing a group of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The AI-powered platform is suitable for both military and civilian drones.

The technology is based on specialized algorithms and scenarios for autonomous interaction of a swarm of drones. An autonomous distributed neural network is involved. AI provides processing of input signals from each drone and makes real-time decisions to control a whole group of drones of different types. This takes into account the type of task assigned, and the group itself, as stated, "remains capable until the last unit of swarm."

The development is an artificial intelligence system for controlling a group of unmanned vehicles of various types. The control system is autonomous, it does not require a human operator and can work independently 24/7, - said Vyacheslav Chundyshko, head of the Department of Information Security and Applied Informatics of Moscow State Technical University, head of the scientific and educational center for industrial robotics and AI technologies.

According to him, the new platform can be used in various military missions. These are, in particular, a swarm of surveillance and patrol, a group of defense drones, etc. In the civil sphere, such operations as field processing, observation, monitoring of complex structures, etc. can be performed.

Earlier in Dubai, the first Russian drone swarm control system was presented, which allows you to control up to 20 vehicles at the same time. The complex, developed by specialists of Kronstadt JSC, will increase the effectiveness of military operations.[1]
