The Roselectronics holding of Rostec State Corporation on November 14, 2023 presented an updated complex of automation of control of air defense units. The equipment performs the targeting and guidance of anti-aircraft gunners on an air target, and also controls the countermeasures of the UAV.

Previously, the complex was manufactured in a frame-modular version for installation on the base of the vehicle. The version consists of an automated control module (UIA) and an individual automation kit (ICA). UIA is intended for the commander of the anti-aircraft shooter unit, and IKA for fighters equipped with portable anti-aircraft systems or small arms. After modernization, the equipment also implements the ability to control countermeasures to drones.

The automated control module includes laptop or tablet with specialized, software navigation wired and wireless equipment. communications The module provides coordination of the actions of anti-aircraft gunners, its functionality allows you to simultaneously control 9 shooters or 4 platoons of MANPADS shooters. The equipment is able to accompany up to 100 targets, receive from the IKA subordinates information about the phases of hostilities and the state of ammunition, issue target designation commands, and also automate the alignment of anti-aircraft gunners on the ground.

The individual automation kit includes a tablet, goggles with a built-in micro display that displays goals, as well as radio communications and navigation. The equipment provides preliminary guidance of the shooter's weapons to the aerial target by commands and target designations received from the unit commander.

Thanks to the used circuitry solutions, our equipment can be adapted to the air defense control system of a foreign customer. The presented complex automates the collection and processing of information on the air situation, thus increasing the effectiveness of combating air targets and ensuring reliable protection of military formations, - said Oleg Ratnikov, General Director of Radio Plant JSC.

The modernized air defense control system was included in the Russian complex product with a high degree of automation, capable of detecting, suppressing or destroying popular modern small-sized FPV drones, quadcopters, aircraft-type drones on the battlefield. Its characteristics and high efficiency are confirmed in real combat conditions.
