Rostelecom: Infomat of state services

Rostelecom provided the first multifunction information terminal (infomat) for receiving by residents of Russia all available public services in electronic form federal, regional and municipal level. For the first time the new infomat was shown to participants of Council for regional informatization at the Ministry of Communications of mass communications of the Russian Federation which meeting took place on October 28, 2010 in Moscow.

Using the infomat representatives of project office "Electronic Government" showed to JSC Rostelecom possibilities of a federal and regional segment of infrastructure of "the electronic government" for receiving federal and regional public services. In particular, as an example specialists of Rostelecom showed process of authorization using "The social card of the Muscovite" on the uniform portal of state services and payments of services of housing and public utilities in the city of Moscow.

The provided infomat is equipped with the screen, the scanner on which the applicant can scan documents, necessary for filing of application, the bill acceptor, plastic card readers, the check printer, the video camera, the microphone and a sound system for video and audio of communication.

The infomat allows to get access to all public, regional and municipal services through the Uniform portal of public services www.gosuslugi.ru. For example, with its help it is possible to submit the application for receiving service in electronic form, to receive the qualified help of the call center operator servicing the uniform portal of state services or to pay taxes, penalties, duties with different methods – cash or the bank card.

According to the Decision of the Government of the Russian Federation Rostelecom is the only contractor of actions of the Federal target program "Electronic Russia" regarding design and creation of infrastructure of the electronic government.
