2023: Presentation of the traffic control system "Traffic"

Sitronics Group on November 17, 2023 announced its participation in the work of the competence center for the replacement of foreign industry digital products and other projects.

One of the key areas of Sitronics Group's work is the development of solutions for replacing foreign software in the sector of sea and river transport. The company participates in the industrial competence center "Sea and River Transport," within the framework of which, in the interests of FSUE Rosmorport, the Russian Ship Traffic Management System "SeaTraffic" was developed.

This is a system that ensures the safety of navigation, effective management of the movement of ships in ports, harbors and coastal zones, as well as the protection of the okruzhayushchey̆ environment from possible negative consequences. The Vessel Traffic Management System is the basic infrastructure element of the Maritime Security System in accordance with International Maritime Organization (IMO) Resolution A.857 (20). SWS allows monitoring the implementation of the general rules for sailing and mooring ships in seaports in real time.

SIS "Traffic" complies with all applicable SIS requirements and supports operation with system software included in the register of Russian programs and databases. VPS passed certification tests, entered into the Unified Register of Russian Software, has a Certificate of approval of the type of equipment of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation No. 22.30.01.00001.315.

The first Russian port where the system was introduced was the seaport. Sochi The project is a pilot and in November 2023 is already at the final stage of implementation. The introduction of a domestic solution will ensure technological sovereignty and non-stop functioning of the port, - said the president of Sitronics Group. Nikolay Pozhidaev

The company also developed the Electronic Cartographic Navigation and Information System EKNIS "Bering" - a complex that in real time provides all information about the position of the vessel, its route, supports electronic maps of various formats and allows you to exchange data between ships and coastal services.

Sitronics Group is developing Russian. Automatic Identification System (AIS) The service operates on the basis satellite data of the company and provides ground services with up-to-date information about ships. It is already used state by commercial companies that use AIS data in their work.

The Autonomous Navigation technology developed by the company has achieved significant success in development. It provides independent vessel tracking at a given course, divergence from other vessels, evasion from objects that pose a danger. The development uses technologies of artificial intelligence, mathematical modeling, recognition and identification. The decision has already been tested on sea vessels of the commercial fleet, by November 2023 it is being tested and finalized for river vessels. The first tests of autonomous navigation on an electric ship and a cargo tug were successful.

2022: Announcement of the VVS

On October 25, 2022, it became known about the creation of the first Russian ship traffic management system. This is a development by Sitronics Group.

The ship traffic control system (VCS) is a software and hardware complex that can be used in water areas with active cargo and passenger shipping. VMS includes radar, dispatch equipment and special software. The system is installed on shore or on stationary offshore facilities in order to obtain position data of vessels, their speed, course and position. The dispatcher is assigned to a certain group of ships and ensures the safety of their passage into the port zone.

The first Russian ship traffic management system has been created

The system contains a radar that provides information to the control system, created on a domestic component base. The software is written by the developers of Sitronics Group.

SWS Sitronics Group was tested on the coast of the Gulf of Finland. This is the first fully domestic system certified by the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping, the developers say. The main task of the VPS is to ensure the safe divergence of facilities, control over their movement and position at anchorages, monitoring of straits and areas that are adjacent to oil and gas production platforms.

All ports of the Russian Federation, as well as coastal areas with active shipping, should be equipped with a ship traffic control system. The new software and hardware complex is completely Russian, belongs to the class of critical infrastructure and helps to solve the problem of achieving the country's technological sovereignty, "said Pavel Dreiger, vice president of software products and solutions at Sitronics Group. }}

According to him, the product has export potential, since the requirements of the Russian Maritime Register are more stringent than in many other countries.[1]
