2023: Sentence - 18 years in prison and fine 118 million rubles for creating a criminal community
On November 20, 2023, the court sentenced to 18 years in a maximum security colony the former head of the Klinsky district of the Moscow region, Alexander Postrigan, in the case of creating a criminal community. In addition, the verdict involves a fine of 118 million rubles and deprivation of the right to hold positions in state bodies, local governments for a period of 5 years, with restriction of freedom for 1 year 6 months.
According to the investigation, Postrigan, as head of the Klinsky municipal district of the Moscow region, in the period from August 2003 to June 2018, created a criminal community with three structural units, which included officials of the local administration, entrepreneurs, as well as relatives. In total, they committed 16 serious crimes. The amount of damage amounted to at least 72 million rubles. They also committed at least seven episodes of legalization of land, buildings, buildings and structures obtained as a result of serious crimes. The total market value of legalized property amounted to at least 68 million rubles.
Earlier, the property of Alexander Postrigan for a total amount of about 10 billion rubles was turned into state income. In particular, 1,700 real estate objects and four cars were seized. In addition, a cinema, a boat station, a shopping center, a children's clinic, two kindergartens, several boiler houses, a public bathhouse, a market, production complexes of factories with railway tracks, recreation centers, plots for the construction of residential buildings and forest land were seized from the property of Postrigan. 2020
In December 2020, Alexander Postrigan was already convicted of official and corruption crimes (paragraph "c" of part 3 of article 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - 2 episodes and part 6 of article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) committed during the commissioning of unfinished apartment buildings. The former official did not admit guilt in the commission of the acts incriminated to him.
