2023: Product Announcement

In mid-November 2023, a startup in the region health care Forward introduced the CarePod platform - modular medical rooms on the basis in artificial intelligence which appointments are carried out without the presence of a doctor. Such capsules are planned to be installed in shopping centers, gyms and office buildings.

The CarePod visit process is fully automated. The user unlocks the door using an application on a smartphone and gets inside a futuristic room. The office has a chair and a touch monitor, through which you can choose a particular procedure. Available, in particular, are full-body scans, heart, kidney and liver health checks, blood pressure and weight assessments, diabetes screening, COVID-19 and HIV tests, thyroid tests, etc. In addition, a mental state can be checked. The patient is accompanied by a virtual assistant throughout the process.

Blood testing is done with a disposable device, and blood pressure is measured through a wireless cuff. Various tampons are available for testing for COVID-19, streptococcus and other diseases. The results obtained are compared with the patient's past health and family history. Data is securely transferred to the Forward platform, allowing continuous monitoring of body health, detection of disease risks, and in-depth assessment. The user can access the information at any time through a mobile application. The subscription price for accessing the system is $99 per month.

Forward raised $100 million for development. Financial support is provided by Khosla Ventures, Founders Fund, Samsung Next, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and, as well Softbank as former CEO, Google Eric Schmidt senior vice president of artificial intelligence Apple John Giannandrea and others.[1]
