SberUniversity has automated the pricing process of training programs based on Optimacros

2023: Implementation of the Pricing Unit

In 3 months, the Korus Consulting team completed the implementation of the Pricing block on the domestic Optimacros platform for SberUniversity as part of a project to automate financial planning and budgeting. As a result, it was possible to organize work to calculate the cost of educational programs and form a training plan in a single space, reduce planning periods, and improve the quality and speed of reporting. This was announced by Korus Consulting on November 27, 2023.

SberUniversity is an educational center that allows you to develop competencies and form a career. SberUniversity uses the expertise and experience of large-scale transformations of Sber and shares them with Russian companies, entrepreneurs and everyone who cares about their own development. SberUniversity has more than 500 educational solutions in its portfolio.

The company needed to make the calculation of the cost of educational programs clear, easy and understandable for all users. The speed of processes, the ability to model and integrate data into other processes were also important. To implement these tasks, the IT company Korus Consulting was involved.

The KORUS Consulting team modeled the cost calculation process on the Optimacros platform. The specialists set up forms and algorithms for calculating detailed estimates based on quantitative indicators and tariffs, formed reports and dashboards for analyzing and visualizing data, and set up printed forms.

SberUniversity specialists transferred to the system the actual data necessary to calculate the cost of programs and the actual plan of analysis. The solution was pilot-operated on real data containing information on all programs approved for 2023.

As a result of the first stage of the project, the company received a single centralized repository of financial parameters of educational programs. Users with different roles and access levels can work in a common information space and flexibly manage training program pricing. It became possible to create several options for the cost of one program with different parameters (venue, implementation method) and see in real time their impact on the financial performance of the company.

The number of manual operations has decreased: reports are generated automatically when primary data is created and converted to MS Word and Excel formats from Optimacros. The financial service of SberUniversity can now calculate costs in real time from several versions of the training plan, analyze costs for expenses and make informed management decisions.

As a result, SberUniversity received the first results as soon as possible, and the team gained valuable experience in automating the pricing of educational programs.
