Transmashholding starts operation of DPC

AMT Group completed the project of creation of engineering infrastructure of the Data Processing Center (DPC) for Transmashholding Ltd. AMT Group executed project, mounting, commissioning, performed supply of equipment.

Tasks

Project objective – creation of safe and failsafe engineering infrastructure for functioning of the equipment in the Data processing center Transmashholding.

Structure

Infrastructure of DPC includes the system of regular power supply (SRPS), the system of technology air conditioning (hard currency), the structured cable network (SCN) and automatic system of gas fire extinguishing (ASGPT).

Power supply and reservation

SBE provides electric power distribution, uninterrupted and qualitative power supply of DPC both at a normal operation mode, and in case of accident of the general power supply in network of the building. Protection of the equipment at emergence of overloads and short circuits by auto disconnect of abnormal lines and also personnel from defeat is provided by electric current. Power supply of consumers of DPC on the first category of reliability is provided. Reservation of the UPS system is constructed according to scheme N+1. SBE is created based on the equipment of AVV, Legrand and Liebert companies.

Conditioning and ventilation

At construction of a conditioning system the maximum requirements of DPC on the heat sink were considered and its reservation according to scheme N+1 is provided. The hard currency is intended for the round-the-clock and year-round ensuring required parameters of an indoor air of DPC. At construction of a system industrial Liebert HPM S23DA conditioners are used.

Cable infrastructure

By SCS it is executed using the equipment Panduit and completely conforms to requirements imposed to SCS by the TIA/EIA 568B standard.

Premises

The technology premises of DPC are equipped with modular installations of automatic gas fire fighting. The system of smoke removal provides effective removal of smoke and gas of the fire extinguishing system after liquidation of the fire in DPC. In the central dispatcher station of the building the signal and sound light about fire emergence, operation of a system and also about shutdown of tension of main power supply and fault of a system is provided. The complete set of the fire extinguishing system is executed based on the equipment having all necessary certificates of fire safety and compliance of the Russian Federation.

Responses

The new DPC was required in connection with consolidation of computing resources at the central office of holding. It was necessary to create new, modern infrastructure in a short time. Test operation of engineering infrastructure of DPC went over with success in the period of an abnormal heat of August, 2010, noted in the management of IT department of Transmashholding Ltd.
