DSK-1 BRAAS grew from AX and passed to SAP

The joint Russian-German venture for production and distribution of a natural tile of DSK-1 BRAAS finished the project on migration on a new ERP platfomu: instead of Microsoft Dynamics AX now it will use SAP ERP. ALPE consulting was engaged in installation of a new system.

The AX system was implemented in DSK-1 BRAAS by Columbus IT integrator during the period from 2003 to 2004. As earlier representatives of BRAAS, AX said complicated not only process of reporting for the German office, but also carrying out its detailed analysis. Workflow lost efficiency, and the efficiency of data collection decreased during the work in it. Obviously, BRAAS just grew from it.

Now at MONIER company where DSK-1 BRAAS enters, a branched production system plus representations in 42 countries of the world, and all these data need to be consolidated for information exchange with the head office of the company located in Germany. SAP is the corporate standard for MONIER.

In addition to SAP implementation in Russia MONIER is going to use this platform and for other divisions in the territory of Eastern Europe. In the near future accession to this project of Ukraine and Turkey is planned. It is also supposed to make use of experience of the project during creation of the similar platform for Southeast Asia (Malaysia, Thailand, India, Indonesia, China).

Start of a new system in productive operation took place in May, 2011. At the moment the project on system implementation of SAP in "BRAAS is DSK 1" is "the fastest and qualitative implementation project for MONIER GROUP company for all history of their world existence", said in official release.

According to IT of the Manager "BRAAS is DSK 1", Dmitry Kryukov, successful system implementation of SAP at the enterprise allowed to include "BRAAS there is DSK 1" in the corporate SAP system of standards of MONIER. Besides, to prepare the international financial statements (IFRS), to increase efficiency of drawing up plans and reports at increase in volumes of work.

And also to increase reliability and forecasting accuracy, to increase efficiency of the business analysis and speed of decision making. "Such solution corresponds to the general IT of strategy of MONIER on centralization of IT of services and increases in their efficiency due to synergy", - he summarized.
