2004-2020

From 2004 to 2011 Oleg Krestinin worked in senior positions at Metalloinvest Management Company, Metalloinvest CJSC, Metalloinvest Trading AG.

In 2020, it was announced the appointment of Oleg Krestinin as Deputy General Director - Commercial Director of Metalloinvest Management Company.

2023: Appointment as Head of Metalloinvest

On December 4, 2023, Metalloinvest announced the appointment of Oleg Krestinin as the new head of the company. In this post, he replaced Nazim Efendiev, who, according to the press service of the group, will remain in the company and focus on making strategic decisions aimed at increasing the sustainability of Metalloinvest's business in conditions of high uncertainty. In turn, Krestinin will manage the operating activities of the company.

Metalloinvest is a Russian mining and metallurgical company. Among its enterprises are Lebedinsky and Mikhailovsky mining and processing plants, metallurgical enterprises - Oskol Electrometallurgical Plant and UralMetCom metal recycling company, as well as assets that provide service and supply of raw materials to mining and metallurgical enterprises.

Nazim Efendiev has been working at Metalloinvest for 20 years. The company noted "the special role of Efendiev in the formation of the industrial culture of Metalloinvest and its individual assets." They recalled that during the "periods of turbulence" from 2020 to 2023, under his leadership, large-scale investment projects of "green" metallurgy were implemented^[1]
