2023: Sending more than 400 thousand images to TSAMI, Penza Region

In 2023, more than 400,000 images were sent to the Central Archive of Medical Images (TSAMI) of the Penza Region, which is three times more than in 2022. In total, 192 units of equipment in 32 medical organizations are connected to TSAMI DIGIPAX. This was announced on December 4, 2023 by RTK Radiology.

As part of the implementation of the action plan to achieve the indicators of the Federal Project "Creating a Single Digital Circuit health care Based on a Single state Health Information System" in 2023, the region demonstrated good results - as of December 2023, the region fulfilled the plan for indicators of "digital maturity" by more than 80%. This became possible thanks to the joint work of the regional MIAC, doctors and the developer of the RTK Radiology solution.

The level of "digital maturity" reflects the success of the region's digital transformation. It is always important to remember that the digitalization of healthcare not only increases the efficiency of the business processes of medical organizations, but also brings significant advantages for patients. RTK Radiology will continue to work together with the Penza region to improve the processes of radiological research and radiation diagnostics,
noted the project manager of RTK Radiology, Inna Moroz.

The Penza region is working on the development of not only quantitative indicators of digitalization, but also qualitative ones. So in 2024, it is planned to organize the work of medical institutions in the Unified Radiological Information System (ERIS) DIGIPAX, designed to optimize the processes of operation of the region's radiological services. The solution minimizes waiting time for the patient, reduces the number of repeated studies, automates the processes of remote description of studies and obtaining a second opinion, as well as television and radio consultations. The use of ERIS subsystems, such as SPMS modules based on artificial intelligence technology and methods of mathematical processing of diagnostic data, will increase the efficiency of analyzing the results of diagnostic studies.

To solve the problems of early diagnosis and timely treatment of socially significant diseases such as tuberculosis, it is necessary to equip radiological services with medical systems. High-quality diagnosis in the early stages is the main key to success in the fight against diseases. The undoubted advantage of a modern radiologist is the ability to use such systems in their work. Automation of routine processes in the conduct of research allows you to free up time for the diagnosis and treatment of patients,
said the chief freelance phthisiatrician of the Ministry of Health of the Penza region, deputy chief physician for the medical department of the regional tuberculosis hospital Anna Klestova.
