Eaton Intelligent Power Protector (IPP)

Eaton announced in November, 2010 entry into the market of Intelligent Power Protector (IPP) – a new product for completion of operation of the IT equipment and applications. Enters a line of Intelligent Power announced in the summer of 2009 (software for monitoring of Intelligent Power Manager, IPM). IPP differs from IPM in the fact that it is software is developed especially for tracking of operation parameters of the set computer and the set UPS in the set timepoint. IPP guarantees correct controlled completion of operation of the protected UPSes of computers and servers in case of long interruptions in power supply. In addition to a possibility of monitoring of the UPS through network, IPP performs local monitoring through consecutive (RS232) and USB ports. By e-mail IPP sends to administrators and users of warning if the power supply provided to the UPS is under the threat, and begins completion of work before the value of the UPS battery is completely exhausted. IPP succeeded LanSafe, NetWatch and Network Shutdown Module. Well in all countries of the region of EMEA.
