Gazpromtrans uses the ROBIN platform from SL Soft (Softline Group of Companies) to automate business processes in the company. Thanks to the introduction of software robots, it was possible to optimize the work of financial and commercial departments, as well as completely eliminate errors related to manual input and processing of data in a number of departments. The company has created and successfully operates an RPA competence center . Softline announced this on December 5, 2023.

The company, which employs about 3,400 people, was faced with the task of increasing the speed and quality of processing routine operations, it was necessary to quickly and complementing the activities of IT departments to optimize business processes by "civil" robotization.

Thanks to robotization, with the support of the RPA competence center, Gazpromtrans employees independently automate routine tasks, saving time, as well as excluding errors related to the human factor.

In financial management, ROBIN software robots check transactions on accounts in 1C and their compliance with the items, report on the results by e-mail, form a report on the forecast of the arrival of wagons.

In commercial management, ROBIN digital assistants enter customer applications into the management accounting system: find an application in PDF format, recognize the text and create an electronic application, notify about the number of applications and errors.

In the Human Resources and Labor Relations Department, robots compare employees' time sheets received from departments with a common one from 1C.

In the department of organization of workflow and archive, robots register incoming letters, convert files, recognize text, check attachments, create a card in the document management system, send resolutions to recipients.

The process of routine operations on the timely formation, preservation, transformation and distribution of the certificate-forecast of the arrival of empty cars for loading at the station in the Surgut branch was robotic.

Gazpromtrans has set ROBIN the task of introducing a No-code RPA platform with built-in Low-code tools and integrated components of machine vision. Robots had to interact with Excel, Outlook, the Transportation management accounting system, the 1C: Enterprise platform, the document management system, MS Access and Abbyy, - said Pavel Borchenko, Managing Director of ROBIN, SL Soft. - The first eight robots released 10,000 working hours a year. The use of software robots eliminated errors related to manual input and data processing, fully automated routine processes, and significantly reduced unproductive losses, including labor costs.

The rapid and painless implementation of ROBIN software robots allows you to perform standard and repetitive tasks more efficiently. The work goes on an accurate schedule according to the schedule. This allows employees to do more intelligent tasks instead of routine ones. Robotization creates growth potential due to the ability to ensure high results by the existing team, - said the head and members of the RPA Gazpromtrans competence center.

In the future, the company plans to scale the experience of using software robots. 132 employees have already trained in the basics of RPA, dozens of specialists autonomously and independently create robots for the further robotization of routine processes in their workplaces.
