2023: Product Announcement
In early December 2023, the Nizhny Novgorod company StriOt-Bor"" presented the anti-drone countermeasures system "Antidron." The complex includes a radar station for all-round viewing and two types of detectors for detection. UAV
According to the developers, the radar system can find and identify enemy drones at a distance of up to ten kilometers, while the UAV speed can reach 250 km/h. This efficiency of the complex provides a circular view and four phased antenna arrays.
The station can easily detect a pigeon-sized drone at any time of day, its height and speed. For comparison, even small quadcopters of the type that are Mavic actively used by the enemy in the SVO zone, as a rule, are large, "said To news Yuri Tsyplenkov, chief designer for radar systems at the developer. |
It is noted that if necessary, the complex can be transported in a car of the type, it UAZ takes literally a couple of minutes to activate it.
As told in the company "Striot-Bor," by December 6, 2022, part of the equipment successfully passed tests in the WVO zone - it was sent to one of the volunteer formations. The remaining components will be tested on the combat contact line until 2023.
The developers note that information about the appearance of UAVs will help fighters hide from them, making it difficult to reconnaissance, adjust or strike. Also, the detected target can be reported to the calculations of the electronic warfare system or anti-drone guns.
In addition, the radar and other equipment included in the complex can be used for civilian purposes. For example, to protect important facilities: airfields, oil refineries and railway junctions.[1]
