2024: Social media launch

HeadHunter announced the launch of a social network for professional networking called "Grid." From June 20, 2024, access to the service is open to all users.

The platform has been in beta testing since the end of 2023. From that moment, the social network was available only by invite. At the time of launch, the network brings together professionals from IT, digital and the creative industry, offering them the opportunity to create valuable work connections and open up new career prospects.

According to Anna Melnik, head of the HR department at PIX Robotics, the success of Setka will depend on whether HeadHunter will be able to "fill the platform with interesting contacts." The source of the publication in a large IT company estimated the development of the minimum viable option (MVP) of the business social network at 200-250 million rubles, and the project budget, taking into account promotion costs, at 1.5-2 billion rubles.

Some experts interviewed by the newspaper doubt the demand for the service, noting that its tasks are already being solved by closed professional communities in Telegram and on other sites^[1]
