2023: Start of active phase of installation of equipment for integrated digitalization of gas metering
Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Engineering has begun the active phase of installing equipment for the comprehensive digitalization of gas metering in Makhachkala. The company announced this on December 13, 2023.
Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Engineering is installing equipment as part of a project to comprehensively automate and digitalize the process of collecting information on gas supply to consumers. The pilot project is being implemented in one of the segments of the Kirovsky district of Makhachkala, where 95% of consumers belong to the category "population."
During the project implementation, an inventory of the pilot area, a pre-design survey and project documentation were approved. As of December 2023, nine cluster gas flow measurement units (KUIRG) are being installed, thanks to which a closed system will be created and control of gas volumes entering the pilot zone will be implemented. Gas flow measurement units and intelligent gas metering systems will be responsible for monitoring and obtaining reliable information on gas consumption volumes. This is almost 1.3 thousand devices that are installed by consumers.
The customer of the project is Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Makhachkala. The project is directly managed by Gazprom Mezhregiongaz. Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Engineering implements engineering and technical work, and in the future will serve the created infrastructure.
After completion of commissioning works, the data will be automatically transferred to the module "Unified control panel STM RGK/GRO," created on the IUSCIFRA software platform. All UIRG and ISUG will be installed at the expense of the regional gas sales company.
The implementation of the project will allow subscribers to get modern digital equipment free of charge, the use of which automates mutual settlements and will make payment for services more convenient and transparent. The project of the regional gas company will help reduce gas losses, - said Pavel Ostroushko, General Director of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Engineering LLC. |
