The management of the Tatspirtprom group of companies decided to focus on the development of its main business area. In 2024, the implementation of key investment projects will continue, which require separate attention and efforts to maintain a leading position in the strong alcohol market, the Tatarstan enterprise said in a statement.

Tatspirtprom announced the sale of the White Kremlin plant to United Breweries - Holding

According to Alexei Sagal, president of the United Breweries holding, White Kremlin will retain the status of a separate enterprise in the structure of United Breweries LLC. The company will continue to purchase locally produced raw materials. The deal, according to his forecast, in 2024, due to an increase in production volumes, will bring an additional 0.5 billion rubles to the regional budget.

We also intend to develop the brands of the White Kremlin, some of which are able to strengthen our position at the federal level. I believe that the deal is mutually beneficial: already in 2024 we are planning an increase in production volumes at this plant, which will bring Tatarstan an additional 500 million rubles to the budget through excise taxes, the company's press service quotes Sagal.

Investbankir Ilya Shumov, in a conversation with Kommersant, estimated the cost of the White Kremlin at 4-6 billion rubles, based on power multipliers. 5.6 billion rubles were invested in the construction of the plant.

According to Alexei Axel, General Director of Volkovskaya Brewery, the purchase of the White Kremlin will allow the OPH to take a significant share in Tatarstan, a fairly wealthy region. Independent expert Alexei Nebolsin points out that the beer market in Tatarstan and the Volga region is distinguished by "fierce competition, including in price," which could be one of the reasons for the sale of the asset.[1]
