In the city of Borodino, Krasnoyarsk Territory, the modernization of libraries continues. So, in the library named after M.Yu. Lermontov deployed an RFID system with equipment of the company "RUTI Inventas," which announced this on December 14, 2023.

The automatic book distribution station with an adjustable height is designed to self-serve readers: using a reader's RFID ticket, they can independently take and hand over books. The station is integrated with the information system "IRBIS64 +" installed in the library, therefore, operations with books are taken into account without interaction with employees of the institution.

Independently, library visitors can also use an automated storage system for personal belongings and receiving ordered editions. Cells with light indication are equipped with electromagnetic locks, access to them is opened only using RFID readers' tickets.

The RST-PTS complex manufactured by RUTI Inventas also has a backlight, but here it is already ultraviolet light for sterilizing publications. The sterilization procedure for several books takes an average of 30-60 seconds and is especially in demand in the cold season.

The storage system developed by RUTI Inventas engineers has a modular design, and it could be installed in any room, while changing only the number of cells, "said Dmitry Sazonov, head of key customer relations. - But for all the time we did not put any of the same system. Library teams strive to emphasize the style of the premises, so we always work with individual design wishes, each project is exclusive. For adult readers and children in Borodino, we have installed bright storage rooms that cheer up even during the long winter.
