BEST-5. Budgeting

The application of an information system of Best-5 is Budgeting intended for solving of tasks of financial planning, control of execution of plans, report generation about a financial status of the enterprise.

According to the developer, any number of projects independent from each other allows to create the application, and within each of them to perform budgeting, modeling of business situations and preparation of reports.

The budget in a system is implemented as the financial plan for a certain period (normally from one month to one year), and process of budgeting – as plan development, control of their execution and holding the organizational actions connected with it. The mechanism of alternative planning allows to make for one period several budgets with different initial data. Itself data can directly be entered into cells of budget tables or be imported from other calculation tables, from accounting base and also from foreign tables in the MS Excel format. Procedures of the analysis of profitability can be tied not only to business in general, but also to the separate direction or the project.

In the application special financial statements, for example, managerial balance in the alternative (not regulated) form, with other structure of articles can be created. For creation of additional reports (for example, forms for calculation of financial ratios) it is enough to create the corresponding table and to describe measure calculation algorithms. All these opportunities are implemented on the basis of the new tool – calculation tables (the tabular documents of special structure which are stored in the separate registers) created by users.
