Poland's state-owned Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ) for 2023 controls more than 50 weapons and ammunition firms - from armored personnel carriers to unmanned aerial systems - and owns stakes in dozens of others.

In 2023, PGZ plans to produce 1,000 portable Piorun anti-aircraft missile systems, while in 2022 there were 600, and in previous years - 300-350.
Over the past year, PGZ has stepped up negotiations to enter the African market.
