2022: Customer Service Optimization
TFL came to KOTELOV with the task of improving the quality of service for customers: to aggregate information about current and past transportation, to give access to services online at any time. Previously, customers had to wait for a phone and email response from operators.
The problem was solved through the development of the client's personal account. Since the development time was limited, it was decided to leave the backend, develop a design and Frontend applications.
The customer came with a guidebook on the use of corporate identity and KOTELOV worked, relying on it. The design took an iterative approach: first prepared prototypes, only after them took up components and layouts. This approach made it possible to show the results to the customer earlier and not get away from the general vision of the flow and design of the application. At each stage, an art director was connected to the team to conduct a design review and not miss a single detail.
During the development, a scalable architecture was laid for potential tasks, starting from the initial design of the project. This made it possible to quickly respond and introduce new features into the service.
Integrated caching of requests when accessing the server side of the service. This accelerated the output of data and page loading. To optimize the process of creating the necessary components, a centralized design system for the customer's guide was prepared.
An interactive Statistics page has been developed so that each client knows how much cargo should be sent to him right now and can quickly go to them. Inside the table, customization of the output data and convenient search are implemented. Data for each container and all documents are stored inside each shipment. The feedback form has been implemented directly to the company's management. With the help of the "Requests" module, customers can now directly transfer data on new transportation orders and track their status. Instructions have been created for customers so that the transition to a new service for them is as easy and convenient as possible.
