2023: Introduction of Galileosky Terminals

Galileosky terminals save fuel on seagoing vessels in Nigeria. Galileosky announced this on December 21, 2023.

The ship's HyperCom company to transportation oil products has faced poor management of fuel consumption on seagoing vessels. Due to the lack of a reliable monitoring system, fuel was distributed suboptimally, which increased operating costs.

To accurately monitor fuel consumption on each vessel and control reserves, the company turned to the Geoservice integrator. They implemented a solution in which data RS-485 are transmitted via Modbus RTU using 9 connected flow meters and 2 fuel level sensors. The Galileosky satellite 7x Hub monitoring terminal provides data on fuel consumption, location and direction of movement. To display the data, Geoservice has developed -, with Androidapplication integrated devices and TECont. The application also supports the function of automatically connecting to a previously used device.

The system developed by Geoservice will save the customer up to 60% of the cost of equipment with the full fulfillment of all technical requirements. Savings are achieved through efficient monitoring and optimization of fuel consumption on each vessel.

The local monitor in the cabin provides continuous access to sensitive data. Remote monitoring provides the customer with control over all boats. All data are also available for analysis through the monitoring platform,
