2023: Technical Support Portal Launch

Postgres Professional on December 25, 2023 announced the launch of the Technical Support Portal.

The portal will become the main tool for interaction on technical support and consulting issues Postgres Pro.

The portal will allow customers to:

• independently manage the list of employees who can apply for technical support;
• View licenses and certificates
• Manage access to repositories with Postgres Pro products (within existing certificates)
• work in current applications, open new ones and view archived applications;
• work in applications from different customers (relevant for integrators).

The Portal also contains a "Knowledge Base" - a catalog of articles with useful information on which you can search on the topic of interest.

Postgres Professional offers customers standard and advanced support programs for Postgres Pro and PostgreSQL DBMS:

Standard technical support. Standard technical support includes case reception, troubleshooting, health recovery, correcting errors in DBMS and extensions, answers on information protection and ensuring high availability and fault tolerance of DBMS, on the capabilities of new versions of Postgres Pro and planning for migration to them, release of urgent bugs and access to all the capabilities of the Technical Support Portal.

Advanced technical support. For a larger range of services, customers can purchase Advanced Technical Support (Advanced Technical Support) certificates. The DTP includes additional services, such as technical audits, participation in design work, optimization of application software requests, expert assistance in configuring DBMS and the surrounding infrastructure, development/implementation of cluster solutions, assistance in migration, training of customer specialists and others.
