2023: Development of an electronic mathematical model for planning and monitoring the consumption of electric power
NBI has completed a project to develop an electronic mathematical model for planning and monitoring electricity consumption, maximum hours and demand management at the Solikamsk Mine Administration (SKRU-1) of PJSC Uralkali (part of the Uralchem Group). The NBI announced this on December 27, 2023.
Project Objectives:
- determination of electricity consumption standards per unit of production for all types of production, ensuring reliable annual cost planning;
- improving the accuracy of power consumption forecasting in accordance with the production schedule;
- creation of tools for analysis and prediction of peak load minimization, synchronization with predicted consumption maxima;
- development of strategies for work in conditions of restrictions on power consumption, including demand management and production regulations;
- monitoring of actual power consumption with subsequent analysis.
As a result of the project implementation, the following tasks were solved:
- Automated and synchronized data integration from a variety of data sources
- improved analysis of the need for additional data;
- regular automatic execution of the necessary calculations for the production unit and the trading unit has been established;
- increased control and optimization of electricity consumption, supported by analytical report and customized commercial dispatching.
For NBI, this project made it possible to use the synchronization of the best design practices for its products, using successful symbiosis between the company's products as part of one customer, as well as knowledge of subject analysis from NBI-Engineering LLC.
