2023: Delta Sprut Platform Market Entry

Russian IT equipment manufacturer Delta Computers on December 27, 2023 announced the entry into the market of a hardware platform for artificial intelligence developed by Russian engineers - Delta Sprut. It is an expansion module that provides connecting additional PCI Express peripherals to Delta Tioga Pass and Delta Bright Lake compute nodes.

Delta Sprut, like all of the company's products, is designed in in accordance with the Open Compute Project (OCP) concept and allows in cascade mode connect up to 8 dual GPUs or 16 standard GPUs to one computing node thickness, which sets a density record of 160 GPUs in a single OCP chassis.

Delta Sprut uses PCIe 4.0 interface for both host interaction and for communication of graphics accelerators to each other. In addition to Nvidia graphics accelerators A100 or H100, AMD Instinct graphics accelerators are also compatible with the device. For NVIDIA devices support pairing with NVLink bridges. The product was developed by Delta Computers engineers.

Purpose of Delta Sprut - these are systems of artificial intelligence and deep training algorithms, neural networks, platforms/ OpenAI, ChatGPT as well as machine vision translation, (machine learning ML), High Performance Computing (HPC), 3D VDI in design and work with complex 3D models and more.

Delta Sprut also found its way into Delta Argut hybrid storage, allowing Create seven new storage configurations, thereby expanding Delta Argut capabilities for support up to 120 NVMe U.2.

{{quote 'Our Delta Sprut product was a response to the challenges facing Russian companies. We all talk about artificial intelligence, but at the same time we know about the limited access to hardware platforms that aggregate dozens of graphics accelerators, and the difficulties with providing design jobs with a fairly large number of high-end graphics accelerators. At the same time, the current topic of cybersecurity requires a large number of physically isolated network interfaces. We managed to close all these needs with one product that allows us to connect accelerators and input interfaces to computing nodes at very high speed and with minimal delays - said Andrey Chernyshev, CEO of Delta Computers.}}

In January 2024, Delta Sprut will replenish the list of those already in the register Ministry of Industry and Trade RUSSIAN FEDERATION Delta Computers products.
