Cisco Virtualization Experience Infrastructure (VXI)

The Cisco devices for virtualization of the desktop systems optimized for interaction using multimedia

Cisco announced two Cisco Virtualization Experience Client (VXC) devices supporting functions of virtualization of the desktop systems in a "clientless" form in a tandem with the system of unified communications Cisco:

• Cisco VXC 2100 is the compact device which is physically integrated with the Cisco Unified IP phones of series 8900 and 9900 which allows to optimize the environment of a workplace of the user. It supports a power supply on Ethernet links (Power-over-Ethernet, PoE) and can work with one or two monitors. The device has four ports USB for connection of a mouse and the keyboard if it is necessary for work in virtual environment.
• Cisco VXC 2200 is the separate compact clientless device with the streamline body providing to users access to a virtual desktop system and the business applications working in the virtualized environment. The Cisco VXC 2200 device when which developing requirements of environmental protection were considered can receive a power supply or on Ethernet links (Power-over-Ethernet, PoE), or using an add-on unit of a power supply. This device also has four ports USB and two videoports using which the devices necessary for work in virtual environment are connected.
