2016: Automation of production accounting with TALARIX MES software product

The task was to create a unified information system to increase the process manageability of Bogdanovich Meat Processing Plant LLC.

Within the framework of the project, it was necessary to solve the following strategic tasks:

  • Automation of ERP level processes - planning, budgeting, sales, manufacturing and purchasing management, cost accounting and cost calculation;
  • Operational cost calculation with a frequency of at least once every 5 days;
  • Automation of lower MESWMS level processes/on the refrigerator, packaging warehouse and finished products;
  • Traceability of batches in workshops, warehouse;
  • The simplest interfaces for work in workshops and in warehouse;
  • Integration with BIZERBA weighing equipment and labellers (GLP, GLMI);
  • Creation of a single vertically integrated complex of information systems (synchronization by NSI, data exchange with the necessary detail for each level, etc.).

"" As a result of the project, the following results were achieved in terms of the implementation of the MES/WMS system in the refrigerator, in the packaging area and in the finished product warehouse:

  • Traceability of product batches from receipt of raw materials from the supplier to transfer to deboning at the refrigerator; from receipt from production to shipment to the buyer at the packaging site - warehouse of finished products;
  • Address/tarot storage;
  • Control of losses for each batch/tarot place;
  • Control of quality characteristics of products throughout the process chain;
  • Registration of all operations - who, what, when, on what task - full control over the operation of the refrigerator, packaging area and finished product warehouse;
  • Reflection of raw material receipt operations from the supplier, return to the supplier, transfer and placement in the refrigerator, selection and transfer for freezing/defrostation, selection and transfer for cutting, return from cutting and placement in the refrigerator, etc.;
  • Accounting in the section of 2 units of measurement - kilograms, pieces;
  • Warehouse/refrigerator management - inventory, write-off, capitalization, natural loss calculation;
  • Express inventory (identification) - determination of what kind of products, where should be located, what happened to it, etc.;
  • Reporting on product movements (including in the context of each batch, tarot place, qualitative characteristics, taking into account the nesting of containers), performance of tasks (including% of completion, execution time), production by performers;
  • Registration of non-conformities - deviations related to process characteristics, deadlines, "non-standard" user actions are classified and recorded in the system;
  • Online integration with the ERP system (TALARIX MEAT PROCESSING PLANT).

In total, 45 workplaces were automated, 14 control points were launched on the refrigerator, packaging (2 packaging areas - sausage products and chilled meat semi-finished products) and the finished product warehouse (3 warehouses - sausage products, ice cream semi-finished products, chilled meat semi-finished products).
