2024: Product Announcement
On January 19, 2024, the Aeroscript Research Center announced the development of a specialized system for detecting conflicts in the movement of civilian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The service allows all participants in air traffic to receive information about the situation in the sky and "see" other drones located nearby.
Tests of the complex were carried out at the Putilovo airfield, 70 km from St. Petersburg. During the testing of the platform, drones of the Geoskan and Diam-Aero companies were used. A fragment of the Russian Nebosvod unmanned air traffic organization system was deployed at the control and control center: aircraft were integrated into it at the software level. The platform processes navigation data from drones and, based on mathematical modeling algorithms, generates warnings about possible conflicts in the sky.
Alexey Khripunov, General Director of the Air Script Research Center, told RIA Novosti that the created system is the first situational awareness service in Russia about unmanned air traffic in the civilian sphere. Processing of the collected information is carried out in accordance with the requirements for air traffic control equipment adopted in air navigation. Information on the location and course of the drone flight is transmitted through Nebosvod to external pilots of such vehicles and to the mission control center. Thanks to the integration of drones into a digital platform, they do not need additional equipment with surveillance equipment.
According to Khripunov, the technology can be used to organize the work of flight control centers of airfields, where a large number of drone flights take place. In addition, the system is suitable for regional situation centers and critical facilities where it is necessary to control the movement of legal and illegal drones.[1]
