The analytical center TAdviser polled Chief information officers of the largest Russian companies concerning their satisfaction with the personnel management system (HRM) used at the enterprise and plans for its upgrade. It became clear that a half of respondents anyway is going to carry out upgrade of existing solutions.
In September TAdviser conducted survey among the Russian Chief information officers on use of personnel management systems (HRM) and plans of business concerning their implementation and development.
So, most of survey participants (50%) answered a question of degree of satisfaction of the company with the current HRM solution that their system requires some upgrade. Upgrade of the existing HRM systems process permanent as systems grow and develop together with labor market and the company, the director of group of MTS of IT Valery Shorzhin explained.

At the same time a third of respondents (33%) recognized completeness of the used HRM system of sufficient, 17% recognized that they intend to change the used solution in the nearest future. And none of respondents designated plans for transition to a HRM system for the SaaS model at the external supplier that demonstrates weak penetration of this IT model into practice of automation of the Russian business.
As for tasks of HR department which information support is a priority, here opinions of survey participants were shared equally. A half called as a priority automation of planning of number and staff expenses, other half – performance management of personnel.
It is obvious that both of these tasks are links of one chain. The companies aiming at decrease in operating costs using HRM systems want to achieve an optimal ratio between number of employees and their performance.
However, as it became clear, in the large companies the task list in the field of control automation by personnel can even be wider. So, among them Valery Shorzhin, for example, noted recruitment, planning of career ladders and management of career of employees, support of programs of mentoring, a mentoring and others. "This year we with colleagues from HR successfully started a personnel performance management system, we complete implementation of the modules ERP Payroll, Time and Labor", - he told.
Such tasks as knowledge management of employees and management of business trips were not selected by any respondent. Also at all HR records and payroll in the basic functionality do not attract interest of business: obviously, it is connected with the fact that this fundamental stage of control automation by personnel by most the companies is already passed.
