2024: Product Announcement

At the end of January 2024, the Russian company Hardberry-RusFactor introduced an unmanned aerial vehicle called "Dexterous," which, according to the developers, is capable of reaching speeds of up to 200 km/h.

According to the manufacturer, the drone flies "on the wings" and consumes 70% less energy than any quadcopter, which is why it can be in the air 2.5 times longer. The flight range and data transfer of the novelty is up to 50 km, the flight altitude is up to 5 km, the flight duration is 1.5 hours. A catapult is not required to launch the drone, so that only one operator can serve it. The UAV is designed for reconnaissance and fire correction.

The Hardberry-RusFactor company also emphasizes that unlike other vertical take-off and landing drones, which have four propellers on the rods, a hull and attached wings for vertical take-off, the Dexterous flies on the wings.

As a result of its use in the WBO zone, we finalized the propeller group, increased the carrying capacity of the device and settled on the fact that the final version of "Dexterous" should be made in carbon. This drone does not see the enemy's air defense, for them it is an ordinary "bird," said Dmitry Evseev, deputy general director of Hardberry-RusFactor.

He added that all vertical take-off and landing drones presented on the market today are made as follows: they have four screws on the "rods," a hull and attached wings for vertical take-off. However, in fact, these UAVs remain ordinary quadcopters, the speed of which reaches a maximum of 85 kilometers per hour, the same slow and clumsy

According to Evseev, by the end of January 2024, Deft had already received a patent for an industrial design and UAV software developed by RusFactor employees. The company began searching for investors to organize serial production.[1]
