Faina Gromova was born in Perm.

1990

Faina and Boris Gromov married in 1990 - five years after both Boris's first wife and Faina's first husband died in a plane crash in the Lviv region.

1997-2004

According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, in 1997 Faina Gromova, together with Nana Anjaparidze-Gelovani, established Victoria Cosmetic Salon LLC, but the business did not go, and in 2004 the company was liquidated. Also in the late 1990s, it was mentioned among the co-owners of Alfa Nefto-Service CJSC, a subsidiary of the company that controls Nefto-Service, a large network of gas stations in the Moscow region.

2024: Transfer of 2.3 million rubles to telephone fraudsters

The wife of the former governor of the Moscow region Boris Gromov Faina became a victim of telephone scammers. This became known on January 26, 2024.

According to the Telegram channel Baza, on January 23, 2024, Faina Gromova received a call and was informed that her account on the Public services portal was hacked and bank accounts were at risk, so it is necessary to withdraw funds and transfer them to a safe account.

The woman went to the bank branch and withdrew part of the money, after which she went to the bank branch Uralsib"" on Tverskaya-Yamskaya. Gromova contributed 2 million 250 thousand rubles to the account of fraudsters, and the rest of the amount could not and turned to the bank's employees. They told the victim that she was deceived. Law enforcement agencies opened a fraud case.

Faina Gromova herself denies that she was the victim of telephone scammers. To the publication Msk1.ru the wife of the ex-governor of the Moscow region stated the following:
