2023: Building Design IT Platform
Lingonberries and RedLab are creating an IT platform for building design. RedLab announced this on January 24, 2024.
The solution will allow the developer to reduce the design time of the house by 330 times. The project is being implemented with the participation of the IT company RedLab.
Brusnika is a Russian development company that specializes in the construction of high-quality housing and the integrated development of urban areas. To optimize the process of developing projects and replacing foreign software, the company began in 2019 to create and implement its own ERP, which offers a different approach to design, significantly different from the standard object-oriented, where the house is assembled manually, or scenario, where analytical and optimization tasks are solved on the basis of ready-made schemes.
The solution is based on integrated design, in which the BIM model is generated automatically with technical solutions, the outcome of which is fully determined by an algorithm based on Brusniki standards.
To develop such a large-scale digital platform, more than 50 specialized employees are needed, so the developer turned to RedLab for additional resources with expertise in the field of analytics, backend, frontend development and testing. As part of the project, RedLab took part in 9 streams, which include work on several services.
The scaling of the RedLab team in the project took place gradually with the involvement of two backend developers. As of January 2024, 16 RedLab IT specialists work on Brusniki projects, who develop, adapt, modify, test and provide services for technological support of software products
By strengthening the team with RedLab experts, our company is creating the Kulman tool in the ERP Brusniki circuit. It is designed to design buildings with high accuracy and manage the project, "said Chief information officer Brusniki Mikhail Bogdanov. - The platform is updated every three months, and the availability of qualified personnel allows you to develop the product in accordance with our roadmap and release releases in a timely manner. Thanks to the solution, we intend to reduce the design time of the house by 330 times, which will significantly reduce the entire construction cycle. In the future, we plan to consider bringing Kulman to the open market and providing design services to external customers. |
On average, it takes about 2630 hours to design a multi-storey residential building with an area of 25 thousand square meters. Brusniki's IT solution copes with the same task in 1440 hours. The plan for 2024 is 616 hours, for 2025 - 8 hours.
