2025: Withdrawal from the capital of the son of the ex-head of Lukoil Vagit Alekperov

Yusuf Alekperov, the son of Lukoil founder Vagit Alekperov (Forbes estimates his fortune at $28.7 billion), left the capital of the Ecto investment holding. The corresponding entry appeared in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities in May 2025. The founder of 100% of Ekto LLC was the personal fund of YuVS, created in March 2025. Konstantin Sanin, who has headed Ecto since 2019, has been appointed fund manager. Changing the ownership structure can reduce the risks of sanctions, allow tax breaks and provide flexibility in management.[1]
