2023: Launch of E-commissioning Management

Rusatom Service JSC has launched E-commissioning Management - an automated information system for managing production processes for commissioning nuclear power plants on the basis of the domestic low-code Case Platform. Case Studio announced this on February 1, 2024.

Due to the urgent need to automate the company's processes and reduce labor costs for processing large amounts of information during commissioning and commissioning of units 1,2,3,4 of the Akkuyu nuclear power plant in Turkey, Rusatom Service JSC decided to implement a comprehensive system for:

  • reducing the number of errors in the processing of documents caused by human factors;
  • simplifying access to data to and transparency managements of the necessary;
  • increasing the efficiency of management decisions made;
  • reduction of human resources necessary for processing and sending documentation and release of skilled labor from routine tasks.

As a basis for implementing a customized and highly loaded E-commissioning Management system, it was decided to use the low-code Case Platform.

When choosing a platform, the following advantages of the platform played a key role for Rusatom Service JSC:

  • import independence of the solution and its inclusion in the register of Russian software;
  • open source architecture;
  • The affordable cost of development by attracting developers to low-code who do not have high specialized programming skills;
  • the presence of a built-in BPM engine for quick start of processes;
  • dynamic licensing model;
  • possibility to implement a flexible role model for granting access rights to objects and functions;
  • The ability to run the client through a web browser
  • Vendor team experience.

The development of the system started in the summer of 2022. Already today, 11 functional modules of the system have been introduced and put into commercial operation: with their help, you can effectively monitor the readiness of equipment, monitor the status of tasks, as well as manage documentation and resources even in real time. The 12th - the final module - will be implemented in February 2024.

To date, the E-commissioning Management system on Case Platform has allowed Rusatom Service JSC to achieve the following results:

  • automate the interaction of 1,500 specialists - employees of Rusatom Service JSC, Akkuyu Nuclear JSC and other organizations industries in Russia Turkey and; Belarus
  • Create a unified communication environment to improve transparency at all stages
  • Reduce errors and search time for required documentation.

With the platform, you can configure a three-level role model in which each role is "assembled" from a number of rights, accesses, visibility conditions. There is also a setting of rights for each function and object, grouping of accesses in the form of application roles for assignment to specific users and the ability to quickly make changes to the model, - said Artem Belychev, Development Director of Case Studio.
