2023: Creation and launch of the Equipment management system

In November 2023, Blago Group launched the EMS (Equipment management system) system. It records and processes all data on rail transportation and rolling stock. The entire IT development of the accounting system took the company about 10 months.

Within the framework of the project, the task was to streamline and simplify the work of logicians, as well as optimize the user path in the system for the work of related departments. Thanks to convenient automated workstations (AWS) with an intuitive interface, the system became available to an employee of any department, which modernized production processes from technological solutions to flexible development.

The Logistics and Digital Transformation Departments of Blago Group, together with a separate division of railway transportation organizations, fully customized the EMS system to meet customer requirements: interfaces were installed and ways were set up to receive information about railway transportation and deployment of rolling stock from external sources. The main advantage was that when developing the project, the roles of the executor, customer and user were performed by the divisions of the Blago Group of Companies. Requirements stages, strategies and operating technologies were optimized for flexible problem finding and flexible development, which contributed to the creation of a user-friendly EMS system.

Experts made a single window of railway management, systematized the financial side of the business and made the accounting system transparent and relevant for each department. As a result, the process of obtaining information accelerated by 65%. That is, in addition to optimizing processes, management received additional tools for analysis, followed by the development of both a separate railway function and the entire business as a whole.
