Car dealership information system: credit calculator, financial products module and integration with eCredit platform

Financial Product Accounting and Sales Module

Internal service as part of the car dealership information system, which contains information about the company's financial products. The client can choose a car on the site taking into account his preferences and make a purchase.

In addition to the main purchase, the system offers to choose related products. Using database configurations, we have achieved that the system recommends a different set of add-ons for each car.

The backend team of the Nord Clan studied the architecture of the project and proposed to unify the data on the base of cars so that each announcement of sale was in the same style. This would simplify the selection of cars and lead the database to a single standard. The standard blocks of the auto.tu site were taken as a basis, for which they configured integration with the portal. After the unification of data on the site, the system began to be updated after each completed transaction and always gave real information on availability.

Credit Web Module

One of the developed modules was a service where a client or employee on his application can choose the terms of lending, send an application to banks without scanning and attaching documents, and then receive offers from banks for lending to buy a car.

Implemented functionality:

  • integration with the Credit platform for online loan applications
  • personal account with the ability to create credit programs that are displayed on the site
  • maintaining cards with information on agents, counterparties (banks and insurance companies) and agency contracts, as well as uploading information on them
  • creation and editing of remuneration to be paid by banks and insurance companies for the sale of loans and financial products.

The portal also created an online car dealership calculator to select loan conditions depending on the down payment or by parameters. You can specify a monthly payment, term, rate, or income level in the calculator.

Testing modules integration with eCredit

Financial and credit modules are part of the FINU system - a system consisting of several microservices. During the development, it was revealed that API methods do not work as described in the documentation, and also that the platform does not allow everything to implement the necessary business process.

The Nord Clan team, together with other project teams, decided to test the operation of the eCredit platform before the start of the development stage.

QA specialist Nord Klan tested Ekhredit's work in parallel with testing the new functionality developed on the project. In addition to testing, we took over communication with eCredit: requested improvements and bug fixes, signaled to the business customer about which bottlenecks, blockers and platform flaws were identified. We also monitored the implementation of the agreements by eCredit representatives.

As a result, we implemented the loading and regular updating of the array of credit programs from eCredit, settlements on payments and rates, as well as the selection of the best loan offer.

Information System Update Results
