2024: Release of MFPs collected in-house by Fplus

According to company representatives, the devices are assembled in Russia at their own Fplus production, some of the components are produced abroad. Fplus has developed its own design documentation, so it can adjust the localization depth depending on the model. The factory owned by the manufacturer has launched an assembly line for all types of printing devices.

"The production process is planned in such a way that the devices can score the required number of points and get into the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade when it is adopted. For this reason, Fplus was initially focused on fulfilling one of the main conditions: the development of its own design documentation, "the company explained.

The presented line as of the beginning of February 2024 includes three models of laser monochrome MFPs (3-in-1: printer, scanner, copier) and two models of laser monochrome printers of A4 format (with the ability to wirelessly connect or connect over the network). The devices provide printing speeds of 30 pages per minute and have a double-sided printing function, the toner capacity is 3000 pages.

MFPs are equipped with an LCD display and color scanning. Printers and MFPs are controlled by their own Fplus software. The devices have a three-year warranty.

Printers and MFPs can work with media such as plain, thin and dense paper, envelopes, labels, depositions, paper from secondary raw materials. The design of the device is designed to minimize the likelihood of paper jamming. In addition, Fplus printers can work with small formats, for example, not only with standard A4 or A5, but also A6 and even manual formats, the company emphasized.

"Due to the fact that the register is still at the stage of refinement, the organization of the public sector, and companies with state participation cannot purchase non-Russian printing devices on the balance sheet, for this reason pent-up demand is accumulating. However, for us, the register is not an end in itself, we sought, first of all, to create a Russian product, albeit with some inevitable help from our technological partners, "said Dmitry Kuptsov, Fplus Deputy General Director for Peripherals.

As he clarified, according to the data available at the beginning of February 2024, the entire Russian corporate market for laser printers is A4 about 600-650 thousand devices. Fplus plans only in 2024 to release at least 50 thousand devices in the 30-40 page segment (print speed per minute) and 15 thousand devices in the 40-50 page segment. At the same time, within a year the company is going to launch the production of color printers.
