Yuvelirtorg (1C: Payroll and HR Management 8)

1C: Accounting and Trade company (BIT) – St. Petersburg completed the project on automation of personnel records, the salary and personnel management in large St. Petersburg retail chain stores of "Yuvelirtorg". Thanks to implementation of a new system based on "1C:Enterprise 8" the speed of payroll to over 600 employees of the company increased by 4 times, the reporting for state bodies is prepared twice quicker now.

Project Objectives

The Yuvelirtorg company is founded in 1936 in St. Petersburg and today is the leader in the market of jewelry products of the Northwest. Due to the staff increase of employees in the company there was a need for the new information system for personnel management and payroll allowing to accelerate basic processes of personnel management. The software products existing in the company did not suit company management in efficiency of data processing and reporting.

Project Progress

It was decided to pass to the "1C: Payroll and HR Management 8" software product on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform which provides ample opportunities for personnel records and personnel management, allows to create quickly and conveniently reports, to accrue taxes. For project implementation addressed to 1C: Accounting and Trade company (BIT) having a wide regional branch network. Specialists of BIT company executed the project in 3 months. 10 jobs for HR specialists and to payroll are automated.

Project Result

On project deliverables the speed of payroll to the staff of retail chain stores and formation of personnel reports for state bodies increased. In a new system it is conducted now and accounting of insurance policies of compulsory health insurance and VHI, earlier in the company such opportunity was not. A system provided high data processing rate, provided convenient functionality for calculation of the accrued taxes and the salary taking into account a worked time, sick leave notes and so forth.

The management of JSC Yuvelirtorg sums up the project results: "We estimated advantages of the product "1C: Payroll and HR Management 8". Especially, in case of changes in the legislation. We do not need to carry out completions according to the program as now earlier, there is enough updating of standard functionality. It became especially relevant now when all data in the pension fund, social insurance fund are transmitted through telecommunication channels and all unloadings it is possible to make directly of the program.
