2024: Introduction of the Plato production digitalization system
PO Elektropribor (part of the Roselectronics holding of Rostec State Corporation) has increased the efficiency of using CNC machines in milling and turning areas by 20% due to the introduction of an in-house digitalization system for Platon production. The solution provides prompt data collection from the equipment and analyzes the efficiency of the machine fleet. This was announced on February 12, 2024 by Roselectronics.
Platon ERP system, developed by Elektropribor software specialists, processes data collected using industrial Internet of Things technology from production equipment. The analysis of the information received on the number of manufactured parts, the downtime of the machine, the operating time of the control programs made it possible to increase the efficiency of using the machines and to obtain an economic effect from digital control of the machines in the amount of 3 million rubles by the end of 2023. During the pilot operation of digital solutions, the efficiency of using CNC lathes increased from 50% to 70%.
The Platon system is a technological and information environment for interaction between people, machine tools and devices for effectively solving problems at a particular enterprise. At Elektropribor, we are gradually introducing our development into the production process and can already assess the effect of its use. According to the results of the 4th quarter of 2023, the company increased the volume of production of a lathe with CNC more than 2 times compared to the same indicator in 2022 and more than 4 times compared to 2021, - said Alexey Troshin, General Director of Elektropribor software. |
Plato-based manufacturing management begins with product planning and includes an MRP solution for part and assembly unit requirements. The solution also provides digital control of production with detail to CNC machines, where movement and transformation of material flow determines the automatic collection of costs and their digital analysis with detail to each batch of parts launched into production.
