The lineup of the biometric equipment for control systems of access of ZKSoftware company was filled up by iFace302 series terminals having stylish design of the body and 4.3" touch screen the display. New products use high-speed 630 MHz the ZK Multi-Bio processor and algorithms of identification of the person on the person and fingerprints. Besides, these biometric terminals are equipped with the built-in card reader of the EM Marine standard, provide access according to the identification code and can store in memory up to 700 templates of persons and up to 3,000 templates of fingerprints. For smooth operation of iFace302 use the optional battery with a capacity of 2000 mAh and are supplied with the video camera of high resolution with IK-illumination for recognition of the person even in the dark.
In iFace302 two methods of biometric identification of users are applied: on fingerprints and on form/geometry of the person. Creation of templates of persons of people which are entered in the database of the terminal and are used for their further comparison with persons of visitors, about several photos of a human face in different foreshortenings, and fingerprints — on reading of the papillary drawing are performed. New biometric terminals are capable to store to 700 templates of persons and up to 3,000 templates of fingerprints. The camera of high resolution which is built in iFace302 with infrared illumination allows to provide recognition of a human face in any conditions of illumination on an object.
In addition support of traditional means of identification allows to increase safety of access. The RFID reader which is built in biometric iFace302 models works with access cards of the EM Marine standard, and his memory is expected 10,000 codes of cards. Biometric terminals perform acceptance of the identification code of the card on contactless technology when the RFID card reader constantly radiates a signal at a frequency of 125 kHz, and the card, getting to the radius of its electromagnetic field, generates a response signal with the code, using the energy received from the reader device. Besides, iFace302 terminals allow to organize access according to the identification code and also a combination of any of above-mentioned methods.
iFace302 can work as a part of network system of access control as these terminals are supplied with the Wiegand-interface, and are capable to manage operation of ACS actuators, including electrical locks. Besides, they are expected also independent operation when biometric control is exercised for access to one premises (through one door). In this case biometric terminals can independently manage work of an electrical lock through a relay exit: with the given a task by a delay to close in settings contacts of a relay exit and to give supply voltage on an electrical lock which will unblock a door at positive result of comparison of the original with templates.
Setup and programming of ZK iFace302 can be performed on site installations using 4.3" the touch TFT display with the intuitive menu and also on network from the PC via interfaces of the software which is included in the delivery. Besides, new biometric terminals are connected to the PC with the preset specialized software through Ethernet, USB port without use of the controller or RS232/485. At the same time from the computer it is possible to perform loading of the database, to fill up base of the terminal with new templates, to carry out setup and administration of parameters of the biometric sensor.
Accuracy of identification is provided with the choice of values of two parameters of the terminal: FRR (False Reject Rate is the probability of false failure in admission) and FAR (False Acceptance Rate is the probability of false admission). Best value of an indicator of FAR is set depending on specifics of an object. For example, if biometric terminals are installed on an object with big number of staff, then it is recommended to select high FAR value at which the probability of emergence of an error of identification decreases. To provide the high speed of biometric identification, iFace302 terminals are programmed on mean or low value of this parameter.
